  • We provide this as a way for you as a prospective customer to try Dymos to see if it would fit your needs.
  • The table below lists 10 scenarios – one per phone call / order.
  • We also use these scenarios for an ongoing internal test program that we use to assess current Dymos accuracy (order/call completion rate).
  • A running summary of our latest internal test results is shown below.
  • For comparison with industry standards, the latest trends indicate that AI voice ordering at restaurants must achieve an 86% completion rate to be considered successful.
  • Completion rate is usually defined as the percentage of orders that the AI can complete unassisted – i.e. orders for which the customer neither hung up on the call, nor asked to speak to an agent/person.

  • Relax!  No real orders will be processed and you will not be asked for any personal information. 
  • When asked to give a name, provide any fake or real name, whatever you prefer
  • Pick a scenario below, or try anything you’d like from the menu. If you choose from the scenarios below, play the role of the caller who is ordering for the person or persons.
  • Our internal testers always do the “Also Try” items – these are optional.
  • We are using the online menu from a live shop in Blaine, WA. It is at Westside Pizza Menu
  • We provide a test promo code that you can use for any order – “APPLE 15”
  • Dymos does occasional upselling – if Dymos asks you if you want a suggested item (e.g. a drink or a dessert), it’s your choice to say “yes” or “no”
  • To test delivery orders, you may use any address (residence, business, apartment, hotel) in the Blaine Washington area. If you need a particular address that can be used for any order, try 701 Harrison Ave, Blaine, WA 98230 (the US Post Office in Blaine).
  • Our internal testers do each scenario as a separate call. However, once an order is complete and after Dymos gives you the final summary, it is also possible to say “start over” and to try other things.

CRITERIA THAT WE USE TO ASSESS IF AN ORDER IS SUCCESSFUL OR NOT

  • These scenarios allow you and our testers to simulate the experience that a real world customer would have.
  • Here’s how we approach each test: “Put yourself in the shoes of a real customer. You are hungry and want to get your food quickly and without hassle. If a real customer would hang up or say “get me a person”, please do so and move on to the next scenario”
